Review of Hire Fees

Bawdeswell Village Hall Committee has reviewed its hire fees from January 2012 and have made no change to the basic charges. However, there are minor changes to some of the fees for more than 2 hours so that the additional hourly charges are more structured. You can view hire fees by clicking here.

Phil Hague

Bawdeswell Village Hall Committee Mourns the passing of Phil Hague

Phil who passed away suddenly on the evening of 3rd November 2011 will be sorely missed by the team. He had been at the core of the planning for the new hall building as a member of Project Bawdeswell and had also made personal contributions to the New Hall fund through the sale of his paintings of local houses. He was a founder member of ‘The Bawdy Players’ who performed ‘Red Hot Cinders’ at the recent Harvest Supper with Phil as the Herald.

Our thoughts at this time are with Betty and her family.

New Web Site

With the pending demise of the ‘eastinvolve’ project and web sites, Bawdeswell Village Hall is now hosted on a ‘norfolkparishes’ site. The transfer may make some references invalid and some links may not work. Also, some documents may not be available.

I shall be working through thE site and correcting/amending the content as required. It is also an opportunity to generally update the site.

In the meantime, if you have any queries or notice any errors please contact us by email.

Hire Fees

Due to higher utility bills and the increased cost of maintenance we have had to raise our hire fees.  The basic hire charge was last increased in January 2007. Residents of Bawdeswell continue to receive a discount. Our hire fees are all inclusive so there is no additional charge for heating.
